Catanduanes State University (CatSU) celebrated a historic milestone as it conferred degrees and certificates upon a total of 4,153 graduates during its four-day 55th Commencement Exercises held from June 23 to 26, 2026, with an additional 227 graduates from the Panganiban Campus recognized on June 27.

The commencement exercises formally opened on June 23 with the confirmation of 818 graduates under Cluster 1, composed of the College of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF), College of Education (COED), and College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUMSS). Among the highlights was the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries program producing its first-ever Magna Cum Laude graduate in the history of the College of Agriculture and Fisheries.

On June 24, a total of 900 graduates under Cluster B, representing the College of Science (COS), College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT), and College of Health Sciences (CHS), were confirmed. The cluster produced 63 academic honorees, including two Magna Cum Laude awardees and 42 Cum Laude graduates, while nine graduates received Loyalty Awards for completing their academic journey entirely at CatSU.

The third day of the commencement exercises honored 727 graduates from the Graduate School (GS), College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA). The cluster recorded 108 academic achievers and celebrated the graduation of the pioneer batches of the Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Architecture programs, marking significant milestones in the University's academic development.

The final day of the commencement exercises recognized 1,481 graduates under the Revised Ladderized Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (RLBSIT) program. Among them were 33 academic awardees and one Loyalty Award recipient. The graduation rites brought the University's four-day commencement exercises to a close, with the Industrial Technology graduates serving as the final batch to cross the stage.

Meanwhile, the Panganiban Campus held its commencement exercises on June 27 at the Panganiban Municipal Plaza, where 227 graduates received their degrees and certificates. The graduates comprised 163 students from the College of Agriculture and 64 from the College of Education.

Throughout the ceremonies, CatSU President Dr. Gemma G. Acedo formally declared the candidates graduates of the University by virtue of the authority vested in her by the Commission on Higher Education and the University's Board of Regents.
