Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English students of Catanduanes State University – College of Education took part in the 'Edutech Summit ’26: The Digital Pedagogy' on Wednesday, March 18. The half-day event focused on helping future educators better understand how to integrate technology into today’s classrooms.

Speakers from the Department of Education shared practical insights and approaches. Mr. Ruel C. Fernandez, Master Teacher II, discussed the broader design framework of the language curriculum. 

Meanwhile, Ms. Loraine D. Taule, also a Master Teacher II, walked participants through the instructional design behind the MATATAG Curriculum, and Teacher VI Ms. Juvy Z. Aracosta led an engaging session on blending ICT and digital citizenship in the MATATAG era.

Student participants likewise got the chance to witness a special macro demonstration by Mr. John Cyrus Ereso (BSED-English 4A), along with students from the Laboratory Schools, adding a hands-on element to the learning experience.

The event was organized by BSED-English 3A in collaboration with the Lingua Poetica Society.
