CatSU CIRPDS Director qualifies for COIL program
InternationalizationThe Director of the Center for International Relations and Continuing Professional Development Services (CIRCPDS), Ms. Zyra Mae T. Tumala, has qualified for the 3-Week Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Training Program under the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP).
The training program, which started on January 20, 2023, consists of asynchronous activities that participants will complete independently, as well as three mandatory 90-minute synchronous meetings. The program will conclude on February 3, 2023.
Of the 200 applicants from 50 member institutions in 12 UMAP countries, Tumala was selected as one of 80 participants. She expressed her excitement and honor to represent CatSU in this international academic endeavor.

The COIL program aims to provide participants with increased self-awareness, cross-cultural communication skills, abilities to work in interdisciplinary teams, and virtual study-abroad experiences.
