Program Outcomes

Master of Arts in Nursing

After completing the program, the students are expected to

  1. Integrate nursing science, related sciences and humanities, ethics, and evidence-based practice to provide the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
  2. Provide leadership and advocacy in healthcare and education to improve educational outcomes and healthcare delivery systems.
  3. Use health information systems and technology to evaluate health outcomes data necessary for clinical documentation, reporting, dissemination to facilitate clinical and administrative applications for quality management and performance management.
  4. Demonstrate expertise in providing healthcare and clinical practice within a defined area of advanced practice, understanding of roles and responsibilities to improve healthcare outcomes for individuals, families, population, and system.
  5. Design and apply culturally responsive, patent-centered, evidence-based teaching, assessment and evaluation practices to facilitate learning, and improve nursing care across diverse settings.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to communicate, collaborate, and assimilate the multiple roles of nursing practice within the context of practice setting.
  7. Promote environmental awareness and environmental advocacy programs through integration of environmental education across courses.
  8. Support local, regional, and national development plans along educational, socio-economic, technological, and health programs.
Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management (Ph.D.)

After completing the program, the students are expected to

  1. Demonstrate highly advanced systematic knowledge and skills in highly specialized and/or complex interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary field of learning.
  2. Utilize complex research/ creative work and/or professional practice and/or the advancement of learning with full independence in individual work and/or in teams of interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary setting.
  3. Apply more complex setting that demands leadership for research and creativity with strategic value added.
  4. Apply significant level of expertise-based autonomy and accountability to professional leadership for innovation, research and/or development management in highly specialized or multi-disciplinary field.
  5. Support local, regional, and national development plans along educational, environmental, and socio-economic programs.
  6. Demonstrate environmental concern through integration of environmental education across courses and environmental advocacy programs.
Doctor of Education major in Educational Management (Ed.D.)

After completing the program, the students are expected to

  3. romote lifelong learning with a highly substantial degree of independence that involves individual work or teams of interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary experts in the field;
  4. Apply these skills in research, professional, or creative work.

Master of Arts in Filipino Education (MAFilEd)

After completing the program, the students are expected to
